KD Trench Sheet Profile for Trench Shoring, KD4 and KD6

Euro Verbau trench sheets are high-quality rolled steel products, manufactured in a range of profiles, widths, heights, material thicknesses and steel grades. Our plasma-cutting robot allows lifting holes to be produced in virtually any shape, diameter and position.

Using state-of-the-art technology, we manufacture our trench sheets from hot-rolled steel coils at our modern production facility in Mönchengladbach. The tolerances of the finished products comply with European standard EN 10249, Parts 1 and 2.

Depending on the profile, our trench sheets can be rolled in material thicknesses ranging from 4 to 8 mm. The most suitable trench sheet for your project depends on the ground conditions, the retained height, the available working space and the installation method.

Applications

The KD trench sheet profile is used within trench shoring systems to provide temporary earth retention for civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Typical applications include the safe excavation of trenches for cables, pipelines and sewers, as well as construction pits and smaller-scale excavations. The lightweight yet stable KD4 profile, with its distinctive shape and low profile height, is generally used for projects involving relatively low retained heights.

With its large overlapping edges, the KD6 profile is designed for more demanding applications. Its design ensures reliable and trouble-free guidance between adjoining sheets during installation.
